VETERANS DAY >>>>>>>>
Hello Folks >< This is a Special Day >< We have several Men & Women in our fine LVH Fishing Club who have “Done their Bit” for this Wonderful Country of ours >>>>>>>
Sometimes the Price they Paid was Very High, but they all Paid a Price & for that we owe them our most sincere THANK YOU for YOUR SERVICE >>>>>>> If you know a VET >> Acknowledge their Service >< If You are a VET >> Allow me to Thank You for Your Service.
I really think it’s Very Admirable that our Local ELKS CLUB is Honoring All Veterans by providing them with a Terrific Steak Dinner, this evening at the Club, compliments of all of the Elks Club Membership. That deserves an “Att’a Boy” for them ALL !!

Hello Folks >< We have a New Candidate for our ANGEL LIST >< It’s none other than KIMBERLY ANDREWS >>>>>>>
No >>>> It’s not because she’s the Wife of the Original “Turk Knot” tier, MAC ANDREWS…….. It’s because she is facing some Medical Challenges, which Qualify Her to have us Hold Her Close ……. Thanks
P>S>> Actually, Mac is not such a Bad Guy !!! THE HOOK
SCHOONER TRAP REPORT > 9 Nov. 09 < Compliments of Team Chinook >< 1 Lady & 3 Gentlemen + 54 Miles R/T)
Team Chinook was short Electric Bill today, but Linda Reed stepped up to the plate & She even brought Apple & Cherry Fritters !!!
It goes without saying, her involvement along with the Trapping Skills displayed by Larry & Bud + Some Minimal Contributions by Yours Truly >< We are able to report Passing Up Stream >< 2 Beautiful Male COHO Salmon.
It rained hard all the while we were at the Trap, but the water flow was clear with minimum debris on the gratings. Sad to say, we saw no wildlife going in or out, but it was delightful to have Linda join us today.

Oregon Coast Foam Puts on Spectacular but Deadly Display: "The algae – although harmless to humans or pets – washes off the natural oils that seabirds have to keep them insulated from the cold. Without that oil, they get hypothermia and die. They've been washing up on the beaches covered in foam - usually dead."
