Urgent news

This morning Mac woke up with a high fever, cough, and he was unable to lift his legs to walk; so we went to the ER. They found that his platelets and hemoglobin were extremely low; and so they have admitted him to an acute care room were he will receive at least 2 units of blood. They've yet to decide on a unit of platelets. They're also pumping him full of all-purpose antibiotics. They think that the low blood counts are helping to mask an infection, so the oncologist and the er doc opted for caution.

Tomorrow they'll decide on whether Mac is released to come home, or kept in the hospital. The blood work shows that we MIGHT be traveling back to where Mac was in January. If so, options are limited. Mac is in the Lord's hands and Mac and I are trusting Him for whatever is ahead.

Now, I'm totally exhausted from lack of sleep, no food all day, and generally worrying, so I'm going to have a light dinner and head to bed.

Our prayers go out to all of you as you pray with us.
Kim and Mac

SCHOONER TRAP REPORT & OTHER GOOD STUFF >> (11 APRIL 11)

SCHOONER FISH TRAP REPORT & OTHER GOOD STUFF >>>>>> 11 April 11

I am sorry to report, that Team Furgason scored a Big Zero on Fish in the Trap Today !!!    However, we did have some excitement >< Just as I was writing “No Fish” in Trap Log >< Electric Bill, exclaimed >>>> “We got one” >< Alas …. It turned out to be a rather large “Hatchery Log” … Which Mr Bud, dispatched & sent down stream !~!~!      We cleaned & buttoned up the Trap & Headed for the ODFW Storage Shed in South Beach.

Several of Our LVH FC Colleagues were gathered at “The Shed” preparing all of the ODFW Fishing Rods we will need to support the Olalla Lake Kids Fishing Day on Saturday Morning.

What a great job the onsite work crew did, there were over 12 guys involved & By the time (Talk about impeccable timing !!) Team Furgason arrived >< All of the “Grunt Work” was accomplished >> !!! <<>> So, Big Fish declared the “Job Well Done” … Adjourned the Meeting & We all headed for lunch at “The Pig” >>>>

P>S>> All of the Rods are ready & stored in Biker Sarver’s Garage, just waiting for the Big Saturday Event >>>>

P>S>S>> I should also mention, that Surveyor Dudley, successfully completed the Sale of ALL of our Garage Sale Books, AM today >>>>

The Bottom-line is, that “We Did Good & Avoided Evil …Mostly” ………… So Endith the Reading !~!~!          THE HOOK
