CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR LOU REED >< LVH FC INVITATION

CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR OUR DEPARTED FRIEND LOU REED                  ( 14 August 2K10 )

Please consider Linda Reed’s Gracious Invitation to Join Her & Family at the Bayshore Club House, on the 14th of August.

FC Member Car Pools will be available for those Members attending from Longview Hills. We will provide more specific LVH Information as we get closer to this August Event.                   THE HOOK

From: Linda
Subject: CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR LOU REED <> INVITATION <> 14 August 2K10

The celebration of life for my dear departed husband Lou is scheduled for Saturday, 8/14/10.  Hopefully we will have pleasant weather for attendees here at the Bayshore Club House at noon. I will be available to meet anyone for coffee and pastry at 11:00 AM  prior to the service starting at 12:00 PM. A luncheon will follow the service. Dress mode is coastal casual and anyone wishing to hopefully share a memory about Lou, tell a story, share their feelings or tell a joke Lou would have appreciated related to fishing, outdoors and hunting is encouraged to do so.

This is a celebration of a good man's life and our short 9 years together, not a sad mourning occasion. His remains will be spread the following weekend in the St. Jo mountains of northern Idaho where he spent so many years with his family, hunting and fishing. His love of the outdoor's and people were his trademarks.

I hope you can join us in remembrance of Lou on 8/14?

In order to have adequate seating and food ordered, please reply  ASAP advising if you can attend and how many will join you.

Thank you.

A big thank you to Mike, Butch, Sue and Mark for spending Saturday at Beachcombers Day letting the public know about our fine fly fishing club.  Mark is responsible for the excellent pics, too.  Those who missed this missed out on some good fun.

Next meeting is Thursday, July 8th at 6:00pm when we will be treated to a program that has been a big hit with other clubs, "Dry Fly Fishing Desert Lakes," with Peter Patricelli, well known fly fisher and photographer.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hi John,

I finally got my typewriter, as I need it since my handwriting has gone to nothing.

Son Tom is taking care of everything, so it’s a relief to me ... I don’t know how he does it ?

I hope he makes it up there before the house is sold to get all of my Personal Junk out of there.

Then WHAT THE HELL AM I GOING TO DO WITH ALL OF THAT STUFF, WHICH NO ONE WOULD TAKE AN INTEREST IN !?!?

I am enjoying this New Style of Living here … Don’t have to make my Bed … Good Food, Lot’s of Activities & Town Trips, etc.

The only problem, so far, is that nearly all of the help do not speak American English … They only speak Mexican English !!!!

ENOUGH >>>>>  BOB

The great adventure began early, (o'dark thirty) it was rainy and cold...

the Nobel ship was prepared and provisions were laid up.

The Captain looked at the harsh sky and scowled...

But the happy fisher woman beamed with joy and assured everyone that the sky would clear and it would be a wonderful day.

many boats filled the bay, competition was stiff

Suddenly, the fish was on and the fight ensued..

suddenly the first flash of the fish in the water...

and a second flash reveled its size

suddenly it was in the net...

then, in keeping with an old sea tradition, the Captain stabbed himself with the hook, to ensure further success

they continued to fish but could not understand why there fate had changed?
and then he pulled from his chest a ... BANANA! and the dreaded banana curse fell upon the boat and no further fish were caught.

and we end our tail with the fish weighed

the captain happy

and a nice trophy catch...

Tillamook bay, Monday June 7th 2010, weight 23 pounds and 30 inches in length

and a good time was had by all...
