The August 17th LVH Fishing Club meeting was very informative as well as enjoyable. James Ray, Fish and STEP biologist with ODFW, provided over 20 members with a Power Point presentation of the many volunteer opportunities available to us within the STEP Program. All of these programs run throughout the year and are conducted within the Mid-Coast Region on ODFW. Club Officers complimented the membership on the fine meeting turn out and encouraged all members to welcome new members of our LVH community to come to one of our meetings and perhaps consider joining our fine club. We are now over 40 members and more are welcome. Barbara Dudley was elected as new Public Affairs Officer. Charles Burke has done a wonderful job for the Club but is forced to step down due to health problems.
