Fished the Yaquina Bay on Friday, August 18, no fish, in fact saw very little on the screen and saw no activity on the surface, lots of bait fish and tons of weeds.

Fished N-Bay on Saturday, from day light till 1:00 P.M., must have been 75 boats between Wheeler and above the 101 Bridge, never saw a fish caught. Talked to a Guide who brought a sea sick client in from the jaws, very rough fishing and only one fish landed for the fleet. Fog was very bad and the ocean was breaking form the North to the South Jetty.

Also spoke with a friend about the Siletz who went to the over there, very slow! Hate to say it but we need rain and lots of it to cool the water down and bring in fish. Will the dead zone keep the fish out? Don’t Know!
