Salmon forecasts: good news, bad news situation - OregonLive.com: "CLACKAMAS -- The 2008 Willamette River spring chinook salmon run will be so small anglers might not get to fish in some traditional fishing holes and hog lines. But the 2008 Columbia River spring chinook run will be so big, anglers might not care. Biologists for the Oregon and Washington departments of fish and wildlife issued their first-blush 2008 salmon forecasts Tuesday during a meeting of the Northwest Sportfishing Industry Association."
