CAMP PALMER CREEK ( 8 April to 13 April 2009 )

STAND DOWN AT CAMP PALMER CREEK >>>>>> 11:30 AM on 13 April 2009

They are Gone >!!!< Well, most of the Stellhead Smolt are Going >!!!< Frank & I removed the Screens & Top Stop Logs on both Beaver/Duck Ponds & those Little Bad Boys were ready to head for the ocean. This all began about 7:45 AM & was prompted by a short visit by our ODFW Pal, James Ray. Frank proceeded to feed the remaining fish, for the last time & I did camp break down chores. Then it was time to hook up our Trusty Trailer & head back to civilization. We actually Turned Out the Lights & got U/W about 11:30 AM……..

Did I mention, that in between chores >> First it Rained >< Then it Blew >< Then it Frizz >< Then it Snew !!!!  What a collection of Spring Weather in the Pacific Northwest … By the time we got to Toledo, we needed our Sun Glasses >< Go Figure >< Suffice to say we got the “T/T” parked in the LVH RV Lot & completed our 3ed Successful SMOLT Planting Year at Camp Palmer Creek.

( NOTE of SADNESS >< James tells us, that Casey could not be with us today, because he was attending a funeral for his Grandfather. Please remember them both on your Angel List.)

SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL OF THE SMOLTERS >< Who Did Smolt Watch at the Camp. It was through your efforts, that we were again able to work with our ODFW Friends & complete this very valuable Annual Stewardship Project.             THE HOOK
