BEVERLY BEACH PATROL >< FOR JULY                 (7/16/09)

 

Just to let you all know >< We had another Successful Beach Litter Patrol on our Adopted Oregon Coast Mile #223 >>>>>>>>

 

Ellie held a Safety Briefing with us at the Club House & Split us into 2 Groups >< The Beach Mistress “North Patrol” … Comprised of Ellie, Bev, Bob & Roger & The Beach Miester  “Southern Patrol .. Comprised of Dave, Wayne & Me >>>>>

 

Suffice to say, the Weather was Terrific & the Beach was relatively clean …… As always, we found the ubiquitous selection of Plastic Bottles, etc & Lots of Fire Works Stuff left over from Celebrations on the 4^th of July. I would estimate a combined collection total of about 80 lbs of Stuff.

 

For future reference, Ellie would like us all plan on 2 Additional Summer Patrols >> 26 AUGUST & 24 SEPTEMBER. More specific information on these Beach Patrols will be published in our Aug/Sept Monthly Activity Schedules.
