Heads Up to all of you who enjoy Recreational Harvesting of Mussels >>>>> According to the recent article in the News Times, the Oregon Dept. of Agriculture has put out a notice to CLOSE Mussel Harvesting from the South Jetty of the Columbia River all the way down to Neptune Park, which is just South of Yachats.

 

Apparently, there are dramatically increased levels of Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning ( PSP Toxins ) showing up in the Mussels !~!~!   Eating Mussels Contaminated with “PSP Toxins” can cause minor to severe illness or even death.  For more the specific information check out the recent  N.T.
