At the August breakfast meeting of the LVH Fishing Club we had our usual breakfast, conversation and activity reports. We had a special report by Lee Fries on the status of the new NOAA facility. Lee has been attending the Port of Newport meetings and reporting to our Club on a regular basis for several months but since Newport had received the exciting news the day before our Fishing Club meeting that Newport would be the location of the new NOAA facility, his report was especially timely and exciting to us all.
