Spawning Salmon Extravaganza

This is an opportunity to vist a stream reach with abundant coho spawners, up to 100/ fish per mile!  See fish in abundances you may have never seen before.  Learn about the lessons this watershed system has to offer others.  We will also learn about the restoration plan Siuslaw National Forest is developing for 5 Mile Bell Creek, a tributary of Takenitch Lake.    There will be discussions, hiking and lots of coho spawning and maybe rotting carcasses (marine driven nutrients) along the creek.
