MARINE RESERVE ISSUES

A MARINE RESERVE NEAR YOU >>><<< OTTER ROCK ?? !!

A section of Coastal Water near Otter Rock is being put forth as a possible Designated Marine Reserve Site ……..

To that end >>< a Near Shore Action Team, comprised of various individuals in Depoe Bay, are soliciting input from Commercial, Charter & Sport Anglers.  Everyone with a vested interest is invited to attend 2 of the following Open Public Meetings:

10 January   (Thursday evening …. 7 to 8 PM at the Depoe Bay Community Hall)      or

17 January   (Thursday evening …. 7 to 8 PM at the England Marine Conference Room)

This is a very important opportunity for all “Near Shore Voices” to be heard & coalesced into meaningful feedback to State Level Decision Makers. Many of these decisions will have significant ramifications on what our coastal fisheries will look like for our Grandchildren…….

Get involved in this important Issue & attend 1 of the meetings. This is a really great opportunity for us all to learn more about this potentially beneficial Future Fisheries Enhancement Action.
