MAY MEETING & EVENT SCHEDULE        (2008)

 

1    May   Thursday …………… 9 AM     BREAKFAST MEETING

 

Once again, you all are invited to bring a friend to enjoy, with us, a Fun & Informative Breakfast at the Agate Beach Golf Course Restaurant.

****Coincidently, today at 4 PM we will also be conducting Session #6 of our Aquatic Angler Program at the Newport Middle School.

 

15  May   Thursday …………….9 AM    GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING & YAQUINA BAY BOAT TOUR !!!

 

We will be conducting a brief GM Meeting at the Club House in preparation for our carpools to arrive at Pier 5, on the Bay Front, by 10 AM. As they did last year, we will be met by our Good Friends Dean Fleck & Mike Pettis. Mike will give us a V.I.P. Tour of the various Commercial Fishing Boats currently operating out of Newport. Bring a Camera & a Friend for this one !!!!

****Coincidently, today at 4 PM will be GRADUATION DAY for the 14 students enrolled in this years 2008 Aquatic Angler Program at the Newport Middle School.

 

17  May   Saturday ……………KID’S FISHING DAY AT ECKMAN LAKE NEAR WALDPORT             

 

Once again, we have been invited to be a part of this very worthwhile Waldport Event, which directly benefits lots of children in all of our Coastal Communities. This year our Central Coast Fly Fishers Friends will be taking the lead in this event & we are very pleased to be working with them & various members of the Mid Coast Chapter of the North West Steelheaders. Watch for a BLAST from Wayde Dudley regarding details soliciting your Help & Support……….

 

24  May   Saturday ……………ANNUAL LVH SECOND TIME AROUND SALE & FISHING CLUB FUND RAISER !!!

 

This will be our Fishing Clubs 2^nd year of participation in this Fun Neighborhood Event. As it turns out, Thanks to your Donations to the Club & the Dudley’s Driveway >><< This has turned out to be a very successful Fund Raiser for our Club. Last year, we were able to raise enough money to operate the Club for the entire year & still have a few bucks left over. Watch for a BLAST regarding how you can Help us with “GOOD STUFF” to sell at this event .…Think of it as “Out of your Garage” & “Into Somebody else’s Garage” …. With our Club making a few bucks on the deal !!!
