Hosted by

NEWPORT POLICE DEPARTMENT

“The City at 5:30” is a program designed to provide our residents the opportunity to meet the members of the City of Newport and learn about the functions of each department.

You are invited to attend the City at 5:30 this Thursday, January 8th at 5:30 pm, at the Newport City Hall, to meet the Newport Police Department. You can meet and ask questions of Chief Mark Miranda, Lieutenant Dave Teem, NPD Sergeants, Officers and the staff of NPD. You will also be able to meet and have your photo taken with our new K-9 Team, Officer T.J. Eriksen and Eyan. There will be video presentations, information about the Mountain Bike Patrol, photo displays, and taser demonstrations as well as information on and applications for the Citizens Academy, NPD Volunteer program, Reserve Officer and Patrol Ride-Alongs.

Don’t miss this chance to meet your Newport Police Department. And, remember, there are several members of the LVH Fishing Club who are NPD Volunteers and they will be there helping out. Come by and say “Hi”!!!
