BIG CREEK KIDS FISHING DAY >> WEEKEND EVENT << VENUE PREPERATIONS >>>>>> ( 4^th, 5^th & 6^th June 09 )

 

As previously mentioned, here’s preliminary planning “Scoop” on LVH FC Member Volunteer Requirements going into this worthwhile event:

 

 

4 June    Thursday    2 PM           ROD & REEL PREPERATIONS >><< We will be doing this work at / in Brian Hudson’s Garage. We pulled all of the Rods from the recent Eckman Lake Event & they now require some “TLC” to get them Fishable for the Kids at Big Creek ………

 

 

5 June     Friday         9 AM           INSTALLATION OF THE NET TO HOLD THE SUBSEQUENT FISH PLANT >><< We will meet at the Club House & proceed up to the upper reservoir arriving about 10 AM >< This evolution, will consist of working with our ODFW Pal, James Ray, to install the Fishing Venue Net in preparation for the PM Stocking of Fish from the Alsea Hatchery.

 

 

6 June    Saturday     6:30 AM     EVENT DAY ACTIVITIES >> 9 AM to 2 PM << We will meet at the Club House & proceed up to Big Creek to arrive by 7 AM.  An “All Hands” Safety Briefing will be provided & Final Venue Set Ups will begin in order to accommodate the arrival of attendees beginning at 9 AM & running to 2 PM.

 

LVH FC Members will be primarily responsible for the Fishing Venue at the Upper Reservoir. We will be task with completing the Final Fishing Venue Set Up & acting as “Rod Wranglers” for the Kids & Parents. We will be assisted by various additional “Wranglers” from the other Fishing Clubs & Organizations involved …….  

 

 

Once again, we are calling on your generosity & commitment to support our Clubs involvement, with our ANWS & CCFF Colleagues, in this kind of Worthwhile Coastal Community Activity for our Children ………
