E. LAKE KIDS FISHING DAY ( 16 May 09 )

12^th ANNUAL ECKMAN LAKE KIDS FISHING DERBY >>>>> Saturday, 9 AM to 2 PM on 16 May 2009

 

Hello to all LVH FC Members >< It’s that time of year again, when we need to call on your good graces to provide Volunteer “Boots on the Ground” to help us support this worthwhile Coastal Kids Fishing Day Event. As you know, this event is sponsored by the 1^st Baptist Church of Waldport & we work closely with them, ODFW, USFS & our CCFF friends to make this such a successful Kids Event. To that end ……..

 

We will need LVH Fishing Club Members to help us with 2 separate days of activity >>>

 

FRIDAY   ( 9 AM on 15 May 2009)  FISHING SITE PREPERATIONS >>>> All Members Meet at the Club House (Bring a Lunch). We will organize Car Pools & try to get down to Waldport by 10 AM. What we hope to accomplish, is to do some Pier Floatation Improvements, Install the Nets & make preparations for the PM arrival of the Stocking Truck.     (Not all personnel will have to remain for the Stocking Event)  

 

SATURDAY    ( 7:30 AM on 16 May 2009)  EVENT DAY >>>> All Members Meet at the Club House for departure to Waldport. We hope to get down there & have our venues set up prior to the 9 AM “Opening Bell” !!!!     (The Event will Officially Run from 9 AM to 2 PM) & (Lunch will be provided for us.)    LVH FC will primarily be responsible for monitoring all Fishing Activity on the Piers & we will also be assisting CCFF with a small Introductory Casting Venue, up in the Parking Lot, near their CCFF Booth.  

*** At the 2 PM Conclusion of the Event, we will muster all hands down at the piers & help James Ray pull & load the Holding Pen Nets.
