Salmon run numbers go up, but later than expected

PORTLAND, Ore. - They are late, but the spring chinook salmon appear to be returning in good numbers on the Columbia River.
Wildlife officials say the counts at Bonneville Dam have been at a thousand or more the past two weeks.
