
Casting the Way Spey: More Northwest anglers are finding that two hands are better than one when fly casting

An ancient method of fly fishing is experiencing new-found popularity in the Pacific Northwest. It's called Spey casting - after the River Spey in Scotland, where the two-handed technique evolved among gentleman anglers using huge rods to fish for salmon.
