Newport News-Times: Migratory fish topic of meeting:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Marine Fisheries Service, along with the Pacific Fishery Management Council and the respective state natural resource agencies, will hold a series of public meetings to discuss topics important to commercial and recreational fishermen of Highly Migratory Species (HMS) such as tunas, sharks and billfish. (Salmon are not highly migratory and not on he agenda.) One of the meetings will be held May 16, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hatfield Marine Science Center, in the Guin Library meeting room.
